For my 3 cups drawing, I focused a lot of my time working on the detail that I put into my work in such a small amount of time. So technically, I guess you could call this my “2 cup” drawing. One thing I believe I did good on was the proportions. I really tried to match the size of the cups compared to each other, and I think it turned out really nice. The shape of my shaded jug came out really nicely. Along with that, the form of my jug, especially for a beginning drawing, took a lot of time but made it look nicer. Another thing I think I did well on was keeping good space between my two cups, accurate to my visual reference. The contrast between light and dark on my cups helped it look more realistic. In the end, the unity of the cups in my drawing gave for a good realistic look. One thing I believe I could work on for future drawings would be my height of the bases, which is a drawing technique I am still getting used to so I can add a more 3D effect to my work.
